meaning of “Delays Detected”

If you see delays under Windows, it is recommended to rescan the drive from a bootable regenerating CD or flash.
If your hard drive is external, it is recommended that you connect it as an internal drive.
Generally, 1-2 delays are not a problem.
HDD Regenerator’s Delays Detected

If you see delays under Windows, it is recommended to rescan the drive from a bootable regenerating CD or flash.
If your hard drive is external, it is recommended that you connect it as an internal drive.
Generally, 1-2 delays are not a problem.

Permanent delays mean that the hard drive has sectors with long access time. A drive with permanent delays is actually a failing drive and may cause data losses. You can try to regenerate such sectors using the “Regenerate all sectors in a range” option. Also, the delays can be regenerated in the “scan and repair” mode, if the following both conditions are met:

The hard drive has been completely scanned at least 1 time.
The hard drive does not contain bad sectors.

Good morning Admin,
Actually I have the lastest version of your software but I still have “connect USB as internal”, by the way my external HD has many issues for exemple I can’t even open it, when plugued I can listen to the sound but in “Device and drives” section I can’t see it, I tried also in Disk Management to add it but same result it blocks the menu. Using your software I can only proceed to the scan step but it stops there with 0% of scan ! a message at the top of the window with a red color appears telling me “USB interface hang-up ! connect the driver as internal” and an other one in bottom “121 – drive is not ready”
What can I do please?

Hi! I tried to scan and repair my WD 500Gb internal laptop hdd, I put it in my external case. When it found bad sectors already it says:

1. USB interface HANG-UP! Connect the drive as INTERNAL!
2. DISK PROBLEM – SEEK FAILURE
3. Connect USB as internal

But it is still scanning and trying to repair its bad sector.
Should I continue the process until it’s completed?

In SMART Data table, What does that mean 72 [95=95>0] in the ‘Reallocated Sectors’ attribute ? The ‘=’ , ‘>’ signs ??

Hello,
i asked you about two weeks ago what is the reason for the very long time that apeared when a tried to regenerate the second time a 1tb external hdd, to be precisely 68 hours, in compare with the firs time when i regenerate it in about 8 hours. The first reply that i posted waited to be moderated for two weeks and then disappeared.
